ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Grandma Sherry has her degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. She was a preschool teacher/director for many years. Grandma Sherry also raised World Champion American Paint Horses, including a stallion named “The Gift of Midas”. She rescues horses, dogs and even rescued a steer named Mooey. Watch for future stories about Mooey.

Grandma Sherry used hundreds of young children’s picture books in her pre-school work to develop math, science, art and language activities. She knows what appeals to young children, their parents and educators. Her books are fiction but include life lessons with a bit of humor. The books are colorful cartoon style art with a touch of realism.
